The International Forum on road and bridge projection, construction and maintenance "AVTODOREXPO'2011" took place in Kiev on 15-17 of November.

Forum is organized by "ACCO International" exhibition company in cooperation with the State Road Service of Ukraine "UKRAVTODOR".

According to its scale and business significance "AVTODOREXPO" is the main branch event in Ukraine.

Since 2010 the Forum is supported by the Council of Heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of CIS countries; that is an evidence of its authority.

Program of the Forum included International exhibition of machinery, equipment, materials and technologies for road and bridge construction "AVTODOREXPO", as well as the Scientific and practical conference on road and bridge projection, construction and maintenance.

"AVTODOREXPO" exhibition is an annual review of the scientific and technical achievements in the field of road construction. Its exposition included demonstration of the latest developments in the field of technology and equipment for construction, repair, maintenance of roads, bridges and tunnels, engineering equipment, machinery and tools for traffic control, traffic safety devices, building materials and components, refueling stations, as well as services in the area of  design and survey work, financial services, etc.

More than 100 exhibitors from Ukraine and Europe participated in this year's exhibition, namely Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Germany, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. Among the exponents one could find world leaders of the branch CFF GmbH & Co.KG, СOMAP S.r.l., FHL Group, HOFMANN GmbH, INFRATEST PRUFTECHNIK GMBH, METSO MINERALS, PASS+CO BARRIER SYSYEMS GmbH, Tensar International, THRACE NONWOVENS & GEOSYNTHETICS S.A., as well as the leading domestic companies: ATLAS COPCO UKRAINE, AMMANN UKRAINE, ASBUD UKRAINE, BUDSHLYAKHMASH, CLARIANT CONSULTING AG, COLOR S.I.M., DNIPROPROM, DOROZHNI ZNAKY, EUROIZOL GEOSYNTHETICS, KOMPLEKTAUTODOR, KREDMASH, MAGEBA UKRAINE, OBERBETON, STIM UKRAINE, UKRGEODOR, VIACON, WIRTGEN UKRAINE,  ZAVOD FREGAT, and others.

This year, participants demonstrated a lot of novelties at the exhibition. Thus, DORTEK company presented at "AVTODOREXPO'2011" natural asphalt Selenizza SLN 120, aimed at improving the asphalt concrete rheological and mechanical properties. "EUROIZOL GEOSYNTHETICS" offered its new service - installation work with application of waterproofing geosynthetic materials. LAKET PE  demonstrated new ECOroads-material for construction and stabilization of roads and pavement surfacing on the enzyme basis. Among the novelties of MAGEBA UKRAINE were one-type isolation joints produced in Ukraine, with wide range of anticorrosive coatings. Permanent participant of the exhibition, PROMKOMPLEKT Company showcased reflective film for marking trucks and wagons. UKRPROMBUD offered cellulose pellets VIATOP plus CT40-and VIATOP plus AD-10 used for stabilization of binding material in bituminous macadam mixtures.

International scientific and practical conference on road and bridge projection, construction and maintenance that took place in the framework of the Forum attracts attention of branch experts every year. The Conference included 4 subject sections: Materials and Technologies, Traffic Safety, Equipment for construction and use of motor roads and Quality control over construction and use of motor roads. Report issues were dedicated to scientific and technical development and presentation of up-to-date technologies, materials and equipment, etc.

This year, participants had the possibility to acquaint oneself with new normative documents, natural asphalt Selenizza SLN120 used for the improvement of asphalt concrete pavement quality, equipment for the production of modified bitumen, Delta Bloc concrete safety barrier system, novelties of "KREMENCHUG PLANT OF ROAD MACHINES" and "IRMASH" Company and other technological novelties, developed for construction, repairs and maintenance of motor roads.

Forum "AVTODOREXPO" is of great importance for the successful development of the economic system of the country. The geopolitical location of Ukraine and the preparations to conducting the Euro-2012 finale assume ever greater importance of the event.
